Jag vet inte vem Jari Peteri är, men hans ord i en Facebooktråd om den här intervjun är värda att lägga in här, tycker jag:
"As is the music, so are the interviews: roundabout and evasive, yet at the same time telling you so much, if you listen carefully enough. So it is with the Shadows in the Night, too; it gives us ten angles to difficulties in human relationsships. I am not American myself, so for me these songs are not that familiar, but I can see what "uncovering them and bringing them to the light of day" means. I assume that for many Americans these songs are so well known that everyone thinks that they know what they are. But these songs are perhaps like your grandmother's diamond ring that has been collecting dust and grime in the top drawer for decades. What Mr Dylan has done is to take the songs to a jeweller for cleaning and - lo! - the diamond shines again. And some of the edges are so sharp that they can cut you. Thank you for a great album, Mr. Dylan!"
Kiitos for that, Mr Peteri!
