Lite rykten passar väl bra så här i advent

This brief post from that well-known Internet sage “Anonymous” is something that I would usually ignore. Some of the countries given here do, however, reflect information I was given back in September. On September 24 (see Blog post below), I mentioned that a European tour was likely in “July-August,” but I didn’t give the unconfirmed dates or counties. Some of the countries above are the same as my information and Werchter is in July. Coincidence, maybe.

In 2020, the Rock Werchter festival will take place July 1-5 in Rotselaar, Belgium. There has been a lot of speculation as to who might appear, but I’ve yet to see or hear any mention of Dylan.

The $64,000 question is, IF “Anonymous” has the tour dates right, is the long-awaited news of a new studio album correct??? Only time will tell.

Inget nytt om 'Days of Yore' vad jag kan hitta.
Hoppas det ligger hyfsat med sanning i ryktet. 
Skumt att Bob Dylan bara gett ut fem album med egna låtar sedan 50-årsdagen. Och ett var ihop med Robert Hunter.
Så jag röstar på en 'Days of Yore'. 

Men han har ju skrivit en hel del annat de här decennierna; en utsökt självbiografi, en massa radiomanus, ett gäng låtar som inte kom på albumen, något filmmanus, några tal och sånt.

Please read this statement from UDO ARTISTS, INC.:
“Given the situation of the widespread Coronavirus, our Prime Minister has requested that we cancel or postpone all forthcoming concerts or events in late March and beyond. We are so sorry to cancel the shows, but in the interest of Public Health and Safety, we are left with no alternative. Therefore we have regrettably decided to cancel the upcoming Bob Dylan concerts here in Japan scheduled April 1 – April 24. We will look to rebook the shows in the future.” ~ UDO Artists, Inc.

Dylan uttalar sig om Little Richards död:

I just heard the news about Little Richard and I’m so grieved. He was my shining star and guiding light back when I was only a little boy. His was the original spirit that moved me to do everything I would do. I played some shows with him in Europe in the early nineties and got to hang out in his dressing room a lot. He was always generous, kind and humble. And still dynamite as a performer and a musician and you could still learn plenty from him. In his presence he was always the same Little Richard that I first heard and was awed by growing up and I always was the same little boy. Of course he’ll live forever. But it’s like a part of your life is gone.
